These stairs at Point Lobos lead from Whaler's Cover up to the rocky hiking ridge above the bay. A wonderland of windswept cypress trees, deer and amazing views of the bay. I missed the deadline for Monochrome Monday but for more B & Ws

Oooh...I love it! Looking up those winding steps, you just know in your heart of hiking hearts there's going to be an incredible view at the top.
