L.D., Is this at the south end of Pt. Lobos? China Beach, something like that? The husband and I were there at Pt. Lobos for the first time a week or so ago. I remember stairs like those. Also that the water looked very inviting for a swim. We'd plan to take them down on the way back but got too hungry when we did swing back. I posted a few photos of our adventure at my other blog: http://www.thisthat-herethere.com/2011/02/t-is-for-23rd.html

Okay, LD - now I really want to know where this is hidden! You may have to E-mail me. Perhaps we could meet here "secretly!"
I do too!
That has *got* to be 'pure bliss cove'!
I would love to see one of these secret coves! Gorgeous!
Beyond impressive:a really beautiful place!!!!. Nature is so wise!!
Hidden treasure! It looks so peaceful and secluded -- wonderful.
That is a nice cove.
Looks like a great place to sit and meditate.

Yep China Cove! Don't be fooled by the inviting-looking water though. It's freezing
What a beautiful spot!
I scanned the previous comments and there's not much more that I can say, except 'don't trip on your way down'. Beautiful spot.
I hiked Pt Lobos in October. Soo beautiful. You live in a stunning part of the world.
