sand dune billboard 11-1-11
Snapped through a windshield, this large sand dune visible to Highway 1 traffic in Monterey is sort of a public billboard. Every day there is some new message spelled out with clumps of ice plant dragged up from below.

When we travel, I'm always amazed by people's ingenuity in spelling out messages - sticks, rocks, shells, and there by you - ice plants!
